The Joy of Wood is proud to have been supplying tools, plans, and wood to woodcarvers and other hand tool woodworkers Australia-wide for many years. We pride ourselves on providing efficient and friendly service and high quality products. We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, we’re here to help. This policy outlines when you may be entitled to a refund, exchange, or store credit.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
You may request a refund if:
The item is faulty, damaged, or not as described.
You contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
3. Non-Refundable Items
We do not offer refunds for:
Change of mind (unless required by law).
Downloadable digital products.
Items returned in a condition different from when received.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please:
Email us at greg@thejoyofwood.com.au with your order/invoice number and reason for return.
Provide photos or other evidence if the item is faulty or damaged.
Return the item to The Joy of Wood, PO Box 2063, Carlisle North 6101 WA (if applicable).
5. Processing Time
Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds will be processed within 3 business days to your original payment method.
6. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which guarantees that goods and services must be of acceptable quality, match their description, and be fit for purpose.
7. Delivery Methods.
We normally deliver your order via Australia Post. Products can be picked up by the purchaser from our Heritage Woodcraft Centre (89C Briggs Street, Carlisle 6101) by prior arrangement only.
8. Delivery Costs
Shipping is free for orders over $50. Orders under $50 incur a flat rate shipping fee of $15.00.
